Additional Information: Mr. Hughes, a veteran who served honorably as a combat infantryman in the Vietnam War, followed his military service with a distinguished career in law, finance and accounting. Prior to obtaining his law degree, Mr. Hughes was awarded honorable mention as one of the top 45 candidates, in national class of 45,000, when he sat for his CPA exam. Mr. Hughes has been a forensic accountant for 15 years and appeared as expert witness in over 2000 cases. He has garnered numerous honors and accolades and throughout his career has served in several private and public posts and academic teaching positions. Those include Treasurer of Orange County Committee to Aid Orange County Following Bankruptcy; Comptroller of International Division of ITT, Lead Instructor of Beker CPA Review Course. Mr. Hughes has written dozens of articles for leading publications and professional journals and chaired seminars on family law property issues.
