Ernest S Han MD, PhD

Ernest Han, M.D., Ph.D., is a gynecologic oncologist with specialized training in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery, which allows operations to be performed with smaller incisions, reducing scarring, pain and recovery time. He is Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds a faculty position as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Gynecologic Oncology at City of Hope.

Dr. Han received his medical and doctoral degrees at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, followed by a residency at Brown University’s Women and Infants Hospital and a gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of California Irvine Medical Center. He earned his M.D and Ph.D. in Cell Physiology and Molecular Biophysics at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas.
