Changing times have only enhanced this modern desert classic. Since its 2006 debut, Classic Club has earned a reputation for a bold layout, extending from its Arnold Palmer-designed course to its 63,000-squarefoot Tuscan Village-inspired clubhouse. The property, an Audubon Certified Cooperative Sanctuary has also earned numerous accolades, including “Best Range” and “Best Course” designations from California Golf + Travel magazine. Over the past summer, the extensive 7,300 yard course, took on a full bunker renovation. “We really enhanced the overall quality of the golf experience while simultaneously increasing the playability of the course” explains general manager Greg Rubino.

Because of global concern, Classic Club’s commitment to service has only grown stronger. Ensuring utmost attention to visitor safety, Classic Club’s new player guidelines include hourly sanitizing of its golf shop, single rider carts (each with its own rake) and increased spacing of tee times. “Because of the incredible generosity of our ownership, the H.N. & Frances C. Berger Foundation,” adds Rubino, “we have consistently made decisions that place the health and safety of our team and guests ahead of financial considerations.”
